You were my "Reading & Writing About Text" professor at GMU in 2006. (I was a older female student). I always look for symbolism and deeper meaning in literature and movies because of your class. In fact, when I saw the movie "The Great Gatsby", I knew the "glasses on the bill board" and the "green light" were symbols of something deeper because of the training I received.
